A Heavy Burden – II

You can make up your own complaints and blessings. These are for examples.

Enter the chuch witha heavy burden of weights. As you are walking down the aisle, claim, “Oh, my job is so hard and no one appreciates me.” Pause and then say, “But I’m glad to be working.” Remoce a weight and leave it.

Drag the remaining load, saying, “I am so fat! I wish I were in better shape.” Pause, then say, “But on the other hand, I do have two strong legs.” Remove a a weight.

Dray your load, saying, “My car is a junk heap.” Pause. “But at least it’s running!” Remove a weight. Continue with this until the load is empty. Approach the children and say, ‘Well, I guess things aren’t as bad as I thought. and you know what. They never are! We should always remember that the Bible says “through God, all things are possible.”

PRAYER: Thank you, Jesus, because in you we know peace.In you, we have strength. And with you by our side, we can face all our problems, knowing you are with us always. For this great gift and blessing, we say ‘thank you’ and let eh Children say “amen.'”
