Lesson: Live your life by the Bible
Bible Passage:
This Moment requires a co-hort with a microphone secreted off-stage.
Invite the children down and show them some remote controls for the television, radio, etc. Explain that, with these devices, you can make things do whatever you want them to do and you can control everything in your life.
Point a remote and click. Nothing happens. Repeat with another remote. Nothing.
Now show your Bible.
Explain that the Bible will truly control all that is important in my life.

Explain that if you use the Bible as the remote control for your life, you’ll always have the most exciting programs to watch, the sweetest music to hear and, most important, no one will be able to remote control you. Live your life under the control of only one person – Jesus Christ – and his teachings and you will have complete control over your own destiny.
